MAKE AN APPOINTMENTA practice where a psychologist and a physiotherapist/psychomotor therapist work together in an integrated way. We look at both mind and body: what you think and feel, and how that affects your tension, energy and movement.
Adults aged 18 and over who feel stuck because of stress, tension, overload, a life-changing event or long-term complaints. We also work with couples, and with athletes and professionals who want to perform better under pressure.
Yes. We regularly work with emotional and physical symptoms related to PMDD, perimenopause, hormonal fluctuations, stress sensitivity and nervous system dysregulation.
We don’t only talk. We also use body-oriented and movement-based exercises (psychomotor therapy). This helps you recognize tension earlier and learn to respond to it differently.
We strongly believe in the integration of mental and physical care. You can combine psychological and physical sessions, but separate sessions are also possible, depending on your needs. When you work with both therapists, we meet regularly to discuss your progress and adjust your treatment, so talking and body-oriented work reinforce each other.
Not always. However, the body and nervous system are always part of the therapeutic process, including within psychological sessions.
No. Everything is adapted to your physical condition, energy level and personal situation.
Emotional overwhelm can be a normal part of therapy and nervous system work. We help you practise regulation, safety and recovery during and after sessions. When possible, we advise you to plan your day accordingly.
Yes. The first introductory meeting takes 20 minutes, is held online and is free of charge. You can share your question and see whether our approach suits you.
After the introductory meeting, you have an intake with one or both therapists, depending on your question. For couples, the session lasts 90 minutes. We discuss your complaints and patterns and, depending on your situation, carry out physical and/or psychological assessments. Together we then draw up a treatment plan.
This differs from person to person and depends on your situation, goals and recovery process. There is no fixed timeline. As an indication, many processes take 6 to 10 sessions over 4 to 6 months. We review your progress along the way.
At the moment, we do not have a waiting list.
Yes. Physical training and recovery-focused sessions with Louis are also possible outside regular therapy sessions.
